About Clorinda Young
Bear Wisdom Consulting
Every meaningful change begins with a safe space to speak, listen, and connect. As a Métis Facilitator, Practitioner, and Consultant born in the north, my life’s work is dedicated to creating spaces rooted in culture, guided by compassion, and focused on holistic community wellness.
My identity as a Métis woman means I have spent my life traveling between two worlds. My spirit animal, the Bear, serves as a guide in this journey—representing a protector and healer who walks with both strength and reflection. In my practice, I am guided by the Seven Sacred Teachings, particularly the gift of Wisdom: the commitment to cherish knowledge and use it to build a better future for all.
I recognize that I am a healer, a gift given to me by the Creator to share with those seeking balance. In a professional context, this translates to a profound ability to stabilize teams, resolve deep-seated conflict, and restore workplace wellness. Throughout my career, I have refined this gift while walking alongside individuals and communities through their most difficult transitions, including deep personal experiences with grief and loss. These experiences have taught me that healing is not a linear process, but a sacred journey that requires a non-judgmental heart and an inclusive spirit.
I bring an inclusive, healing-centered approach to every organization I partner with. I serve as a translator between worldviews, helping teams honor Indigenous interconnectedness while gracefully navigating the structured needs of the modern workplace. Whether I am facilitating a healing circle or advising on program alignment, I meet people exactly where they are, without judgment, to build a lasting foundation for collective growth and wellness.
